Telepathy have just returned from their third UK/EU tour of 2017, this time conquering audiences at Into the Void Festival, Swamp Festival and headline shows across Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. These dates wrapped up an incredible year in support of their hugely acclaimed album Tempest (Golden Antenna Records) which saw the band play the prestigious Roadburn Festival – where they were heralded as one of the top 10 bands of the festival by Dutch webzine ‘Never Mind the Hype’ – and around 50 shows across the UK and Europe.
Telepathy formed in 2011, the product of two Polish brothers and an English guitarist (Piotr Turek, Albert Turek & Richard Powley). From then on the Colchester, UK based instrumental metal band were joined by bassist Teddy James Driscoll and have since set about becoming one of the undergrounds most exciting hopes of recent times. With Tempest (Golden Antenna Records) and the 2014 debut album 12 Areas (Devouter Records, Tartarus Records) receiving rave reviews across blogs and print magazines throughout Europe (Visions Magazine, Metal Hammer, Zero Tolerance, Legacy, Rock Hard, Ox Fanzine, Fuze, Rock-a-Rolla, Terrorizer, etc), the band are continuing a momentum that has seen them grow from strength to strength. Live, the band’s furious performances have made Telepathy one of the most talked about bands in the European underground and has gained them fans on numerous UK and European tours and festival appearances at the likes of Desertfest London, Incubate Festival, and shows with Oathbreaker, Rosetta, Downfall of Gaia and more.
